Suber Lab is an Italian innovative start-up founded by three researchers, employees of Tofwerk, which is the company that patented the Vocus Cork Analyzer technology and validated the first industrial method for the quantification of TCA in cork in a peer-reviewed publication .
The partners of Suber Lab, after a pilot project carried out at the Swiss headquarters of Tofwerk in the years 2021 - 2022, which involved four cork producers for a total of more than 3 million corks analyzed, have decided to purchase a Vocus Cork Analyzer plant to offer an external analysis service to all cork producers, and to install it in Sardinia, the Italian region historically more vocated to the cultivation of cork oaks and transformation of the product.
The experience and knowledge of the cork and wine markets at international level, along with high scientific skills and close collaborations with research centers of excellence make the know-how of the Suber Lab team unique.

TOFWERK AG - SWITZERLAND
Tofwerk is the main strategic partner of Suber Lab. Tofwerk and Suber Lab collaborate in the dissemination of the Vocus Cork Analyzer technology and the establishment of it as a new standard of analysis for all high-quality cork producers.
Tofwerk has recently formed a partnership with Bruker for particular applications of real-time mass spectrometry in specific industry sectors, of which the world of cork is an example.
